So i've read one through four of Tsubasa and i have the chance to watch the anime next week. Should i keep it at the manga, or is the anime just as good?? Cuz, i hate when u read the manga and watch the anime, and the anime is totally off or just doesn't do the manga justice.. and vice versa.

TO watch or not to watch??

I've read all of the Tsubasa manga published so far, and I have to say... I really, really love the series. It's a classic CLAMP work. I'm even starting to get into xxxHOLIC now and catch up on that one too.

I've never seen the anime, but I've heard a lot of good things about it and I wouldn't mind watching it eventually. And this is coming from a total anime snob (which I can't deny being) who would rather read the manga than watch the anime 9 times out of 10.

You should check out the anime for yourself and decide if it's worth watching.

the anime's pretty flashy, they put alot of money into it. besides being pretty to look at, its pretty nice. though they do change some things up in the anime, don't expect it to follow the manga page for page. but dont worry, its not key points in the story or anything, just small insignificant stuff. If anything, I'd say the show goes more in depth with all of the sub characters.

In the end, I still prefer the manga though. I dunno, you just dont get the same experience from the show, its like that for all manga's really. even naruto and bleach, their both really good shows but the manga's are far better. ofcourse I still watch all of these anime's out of mere lazyness, but just like in America the movie/show is almost never better than the book.

you should still be albe to slip into anime though, its more than decent. I mean...its made by CLAMP! their like the friggin oprah winfrey of the anime industry. oh, and I do warn you, torwards the second season Tsubasa sort of dies down for a few chapters/episods. dont get too hooked.
