Wolfy’s Rain Story
(Title: the idea was discussed with Wolfy(surrogate nii-chan) while walking around her neighborhood in the pouring rain on a Sunday, and she prompted me to write it until I did, therefore I dedicate it to her….arigato onii-nii-chan for making me start writing again.) ((Just a short story that I wrote yesterday during school.))
It was loud, barely there, consistent, and infernal. The always humming ultraviolet lights were blinding, well at least to someone who had just regained consciousness. His ears had been buzzing for some ungodly length of time, whether it was just his eardrums or the lights that were terribly spotting his vision with yellow, blue, green, and a cool grey color, he figured it was a bit of both. His mind was fogged, yet he understood that slowly but surely his senses were returning. Closing his eyes to help his vision, he frowned mentally as the spots multiplied and danced across the backs of his eyelids. He wasn’t surprised when he could smell plastic and metal in the air, possibly a mild disinfectant as well. A broken thought, of how much longer until he fully regained his other two senses drifted idly in fragments through the back of his mind.
Another undetermined stretch of time later he could taste the thick heavy nothing that dried his mouth, save for the unknown salty tang almost solid against his tongue from the lack of saliva. A while longer and a cracked groan tore partially from his throat as he was reintroduced to the numb pain that ruled every nerve in his body. Vaguely aware, an enormous amount of time passed, as he slowly blocked the pain out of his mind, and the rainbow of moving blots slowed to a calmer pace against his eyelids.
Eventually he had dozed off in a nearly blissful peace of mind; he winced as all of his nerve endings lit up, faintly reminding him of the ache engulfing his existence. He heard no door open or close, no footsteps, but he distinctly felt the cool breeze of something’s movement brush against the sore muscles that made up his face. When he finally cracked open his eyes, he was mindful to steer his vision well away from the lights overhead, having learned his lesson earlier. The room he was sitting in looked almost like an interrogation room back on earth. The very thought killed off a piece of his soul; he could feel the pulsing alien aura beyond the small room. He looked blankly at the humanoid alien standing on the other side of the table. It registered faintly in his mind that the woman before him was astoundingly beautiful, yet looking at her tanned muscled build, waist length lime green hair, angelic features and blue eyes, he wanted to wretch his liver onto the metal floor due to the difference he could feel in her mere presence.
“My name is Chloe, you will tell us the information we want to know Herald.” He cursed himself mentally, of course his assassin’s status was the reason he was now being interrogated by aliens. Realizing what information they must be after, he was exceedingly glad that his memory had been wiped clean so that he wouldn’t be able to share any information about the subject. He continued o stare blankly at the mass of lime green hair as the light shimmered back and forth upon it; he wondered bemusedly if it was a natural or main hair color for her particular race. She waited still longer, yet neither said a word, he wouldn’t bother with talking; there was no point, this he knew for certain. He also knew that even though he couldn’t help them that they would kill him instead, and with that thought he resigned himself to the idea of death. She sighed but left the room soon to return.
Time Skip Major
1 Month and 3 Days Later
Forcefully grown out hair wet with scalp grease had just started to turn grey. Sweat was seeping through his clothes, stinging his eyes and beginning to pool in his socks. His eyes were bloodshot as slightly irregular breathing actually caused sound to exist in the otherwise silent room. Muscles spasms shook his bound arms, it hadn’t started yet, but the loss of his sanity had indeed begun. It worsened daily now, ever since the injection. Chloe had found out that he no longer possessed the information that they wanted. Now he was dying as an experiment of the alien race known for torture that inhabited the planet of Msidas. He thought about the explanation of what was to follow, that he’d been given.
“You will be injected with a serum that we developed, and your reaction will go towards the research for the cure that we have not yet perfected. Even though are useless for information, your life will still further our cause. It will cause all of the muscles from your thighs to the bottom of your ribcage, also your throat muscles, to be completely frozen in paralysis, thus all bodily fluids will have no place to exit your body aside from your sweat glands and tear ducts, nor will you be able to throw up.
The components of the fluids that don’t pass through your sweat glands will come out of your tear ducts. In short, you will cry piss as you die from dehydration and starvation. Also as a further result of our research, all of your nerve endings will be stripped bare and sensitized more than normal. You will feel yourself die by the seconds, yet you will only be able to speculate upon your demise, you will be able to scream in response to it. We look forwards to your reactional contributions Justin Herald. Oh and the thing I forgot to mention earlier. Your ‘yellow tears’ will burn out your eyes all the way to the tips of the eye roots.”
He still wondered how she knew his real name, not that it mattered to begin with. Realization that Msidas, the planet’s name, was actually ‘sadism’ spelled backwards, rode his last bit of sanity into oblivion. The cracked human male muttered strangled forms of “sadism……..sadism…..” until the yellow tears started, that’s when the screams began.
