In the time before electricity, television sets, and even firearms, when sword and arrow were still used by fighters to do battle, there was one truly great city. This was a city of marvelous landscape and architecture, where food was plentiful and the citizens happy. A city with immense military strength and powerful men to lead the army. The city’s name was Forte Mondo, meaning Great World.At the heart of the city was the arena, where combatants from any providence assembled to fight one another. It was these fighters who commanded the respect of the citizens, and the greatest even ruled over the city as emperor.
In the year 746, the emperor Gias Re was slain by a stronger combatant. The city falls apart at the loss of their fearless leader, and spirals down into poverty. The only thing keeping the city alive is the hope that a new arena champion will rise against the emperor and correct the damage that has been done.

Stuff u should know:

Rules that I'm gonna enforce:
1. 1-3 characters at a time
2. No god mods (emperor is gonna slightly stronger than the others)
3. At most 3 powers
4. When u die, ur more than welcome to come back into the rp under a new char.
5. Keep the ooc stuff in the ooc thread, please

Arena battle rules:
1. Either 1v1 or 2v2 (will be specified by the emperor)
2. DO NOT interupt a fight
3. Fights should be to the death (if u spare your opponent, that'll probibly be ok too)
4. A fight ends when one combatant either dies, forefits, or walks away from the fight (sparing the opponent means forfiting the fight)
p.s. i know those last 2 are kinda dum, but the rp wont function unless people start dying

Roles:
Gladiator- fighter in the arena. becomes a champion if one is defeated (usualy dies)
Champion- usualy stronger than gladiators. only champions can chalenge an emperor(at most 2)
Emperor- rules over city (in this case runs it into the ground). Must accept challenges made by arena champions. (1 at a time)
Loyalist- gladiators or champions who support the emperor's rule. primary job is to kill off stronger gladiators.

Bio: Grew up in a small house at the edge of the city. parents were killed when she was 13 and was forced to live by herself. her dad had taught her his trade and she opened her own black smith shop. later, learning of the arena, she began to train to become one of the few lady gladiators. made her own weapons and gloves that she had developed from leather and what light and thin metal was available.

Weapon: Duama'Ron(That's right, it's back baby with a differnt pronounciation) in pic

* Metal bending: able to transfor his blade into six different forms as he so chose
* high reslience and tenacity( keep knocking him down, he'll get up)
* agile
Bio: Since the age of 7 all Duama has known is battle, Duama'Ron his blade was a gift from his brother who is also a gladiator. Duama is often not taken seriously becaus eof his age, becaus eof this he has already killed 10 men in his short year of the arena battle. He sees battle as something fun, only spoiled by crooked and weak opponents.
