ok, when I first saw the thread I was like "this dudes postin up mixtapes on myspace? this sh!z is gonna be wack".

but then I actually checked you out and listened to the music and you proved me wrong. your musics not hurtin hip-hop either, yeh, you do sway off into that new generation "toy thug" genre. but you do it in a way thats tasteful with catchy metaphores that aren't dumbed down so its ok.

only draw back I would say is, you sound too much like Jay-Z. try adapt your flow into your own style. I really liked track two tho, thought that was hot.

oh and another thing.....please do something with that mix tape cover! photoshop, corel painter, google, cut and paste....something! no one's taking you serious with a cover like that.

Ok first off I appreciate the critizism. Second, I DON'T sound like Jay-Z. And I DON'T Go into a thug thing either. HELL-to-the-NO. I'm strickly Hip-Hop. its not even that you sound like jay, its jus you sound like "every other" east coast dude. your rhymes are nice, and your songs do have somewhat of its own unique style to it. there's just nothing about your flow itself that differentiates you from the rest. if I heard one of your tracks on the radio it would take me like 2mins before I figured out it was you.

I'm assuming you are from the east coast, but if not, if you ever go up there just turn on any radio station and you'll see what i'm talking about. Everyone has that same sort of swagger in their flow and they all sound the same. I mean...its good hip-hop and I really like where your taking your music, just make sure you own your shi!z. own it in such a way that it would be impossible for somone to mimic your flow because it just so you. as soon as your stuff comes on I should be able to go "aah, thats that new pre-cognition right there. turn it up". Instead of waiting till the disk jockey says whats the name of the song and artist.

well thats true, but thats only recently...people rap about guns girls and drugs because thats what sales now. but you KNOW your lyrics aren't dumbed down so you should of excluded that at the start. I don't have a problem with your lyrics at all, theirs just nothing unique about your flow in itself. the way you word your hooks, or adjust the rhythm in a verse makes a big difference.

look, your tracks are hot. Its just you dont get anywhere by people constantly telling you how good you are. just keep adapting into your own style and NEVER dumb down your lyrics...or you could always keep screaming your name over and over again in each track like mike jones.lol. Yea we should. And When you just mentioned Little Brother(My Favorite Rap Group), I just realized your a hip-hop head. And well I can't say I'm like everyone, cuz it's me, but idk. I hate hooks. I personally can't stand em. Which is why a lot of my hooks arent anything. One reason is because people base shit of hooks. I already mad a track called "No Hook Needed" There isn't one, lol I just say that this let it play out for 8bars.

But as for your songs, yeah there ok, but then agin rap is not even close to my type of music, but for the most part i like it.
