Landon recorded the information Slate had given him, storing it for later. pushing the Flare of anger that exposed its self when Slate had insulted his killing method. he looked to the flames that were rapidly getting closer, and glanced over to slate as he saved him self. Landon just gave an annoyed grunt and, the push Slate had given him sent him towards a wall and he sent his arms through it, his weight taring down a few feet before stopping his advance towards the searing heat. he turned his head around around to look at Slate again, seeing another Nova. was that one of him powers? molding clones? He sent a wave of spikes towards the two falling Nova's then at Slate and what ever it was that was helping him up.

Slate merely grabbed the nat from Her and smiled, "Thanks" he said before turning around seeing a Spike turned his way. The Girl above him merely swatted hers to the side as he did the same to his. One would pierce one of the Nova's only to show that it was a manican. No more than a doll.

Slate kicked off and soared under the other Nova catching her in the net. He then pierced it to the biulding underneath her and Landon using both of his claws leaving him unarmed. He then scaled up the biulding to stand on the net to see if the real nova was okay. before looking to landon.

"You know why i was called by the police to help solve this case landon?"

"So that you could die" Gabriel said bluntly as he finally landed back on the ground. the three ex numbers bleeding on the ground. Gabriel was now pointing one gun at Slate, "You ahve confessed to murder, either explain or face the rath of my guns." He told him simply.

The Commander looked at Duama he was losing his cool and was doing things that were rash. He then took his sword and jammed it into the ground breaking the blade. "Get ready this is my final attack." The blade would then turn into mist, but this mist was not composed of water vapor, it was a mist made of metal. At first duama could still see the red of the commanders eyes. then they vanished and a voice rang out, "You should be proud you pushed me this far, Now be a good little boy and die." just then duama would notice a cut on his arm, it wasn't deep but it still stung.

Number three himself could not pin poin the location of the commander anymore. then he would begin to notcie cuts on his body as well except his were deeper and there were more of them, the next thing three knew he was laying on the ground fighting for his life.

Number four and five, were just about done with the other rouge numbers they were both in pretty bad shape. This entire fight was taking a toll on them, but they couldn't give up not if the others were still fighting.

The instant the commander disappeared Duama went to work. "Now that the mist has been around long enough....Andante et Allegro! suddenly wave rang out through the mist, passing over the commander and number 3. "Now I've found you. heh heh, the mist is only the first stage of this now you'll face it. The feral Ice!"

Duama falls to his hands. A small portion of the mist surrounded Duama, drawn by his mana.

Feral Ice: Toad stance!

the mist crystalizes into ice around Duama's head, hands and feet, all resmebling toadlike attributes. Duama shifts his weight back and launches forward with such force that it blurs his vision, and creates a small sonic boom felt throughout the mist.

"Hey Landon!" Landon hears right before having a free falling Mico lands on the portion of his arm still out side of the wall, causing it to snap. "Sure is hot up here huh? But look down there..." Entire cars start melting on the ground, asphalt on the street start bubbling up, water pressure starts building so high, hydrants start to burst with immense power nearly reaching the roof and the supports of surrounding builings start to give in. "Look at the buildings fall... This is such a tall building, that the supports are still up and strong. But that flame is just getting bigger. It's only a matter of time until we're all screwed. And to think, in the end, you've still failed at killing one girl. It's funny, that all this fuss was started just by trying to catch a girl, that we aren't even sure killed anyone. Aside from me, technically." Mico laughs. "And you're so worried about getting 'caught' that you've teamed up with someone who in reality seems to be standing in your way for his own needs. You're super human for pete's sake, society's rules technically don't apply to you. I've killed many people, hell, some in front of authorities. And they can do nothing, for the fact that they can't touch me, and plus the government doesn't find it worth it to waste time on us freaks. I can kill a world leader, and no one can do a damn thing." Mico looks at Landon "Now, I believe this is when you realize what you have to do, you know, break your alliance, go after Nova, disappear for a while, and all that jazz. But ask yourself this, are you even capable of killing Nova? She may stronger than you, you never really know. And well, with that, I'm off."


Mico flies straight up and ends up flying through the mist, emerging with a whole bunch of cuts in his coustume, he notices an ice frog. "Oh, what the hell. Today kinda sucks... a lot." He yells out. "Hey Duama! You done yet?" Mico swoops down and moves the real Nova to safety. About a block away. He yells out again. "Just scream out in agonizing pain when you need me!"

Slate merely smiled to Gabriel and began to laugh hysterically. "nows not the time. Here is not the place" he said before looking back to landon awaiting his next move before moving himself. He didn't however takes his eyes of Gabriel either. Dodging bullets takes a lot of energy and he would not prefer to waste it on Gaberielle if it could be helped.

Landon grimaced this was not working out how he had planed, he chose to say nothing rather then start ranting again. he glanced down at the flames, and back at Slate, he pushed off the building at an angle, towards him, Falling was not a danger to him. if slate moved it didn't matter he would then hit the net that Nova was in and hopefully break it, if Slate didn't move then Landon would hopefully get a good hit at him. He was starting to get sloppier in his tactic to get to Nova, and he knew it.

Nova awoke dizzily, her hand to her head, she didn't know where she was or what was happening. she then realized that she was hanging in mid air! she was in a net, and slate was standing on the rod of it, looking down at Gabriel. "what the hell Slate! i told you to warn me before you do something like this again!" she growled trying to get up, the net swinging with her movement. she didn't even see Landon coming towards them.

"Sorry Nova.. but ... This will be the last time you see me" he said before looking up at Landon now falling, "Sloppy"

Seeing Landon fall Slate ran across the rope ad jumped up towards him. Slate caught Landon ungaurded tackling him mid air into the wall. Landon gritted wanting nothing to do with Slate now. He only wanted Nova while she was still there. While she was stil recovering.

"Get off of me!" Landon said stabbing one of his spikes into Slate's shoulder.

"Make me" Slate smiled Before hopping back a bit thrusting out both of his legs to kick him into the biulding.

Slate flipped in mid air to catch himself on the rope before jumping into the hole after Landon.

Once in he looked about not seeing Landon anywhere. It was a small office space with many places and cubicles to duck around in and hide.

"Oh great.. i was never one for games" he said before Landon tackled Slate from the side onto the ground.

Landon soon hellaciously attacked slate. Stabing spikes into each of his shoulders pounding on him with his fists. Spikes growing from his knuckles he punched repeatedly one blow across his face after the other.

"Die! die! die!" Landon said before stopping a moment to look down at Slate.

Landon caught his breath a little looking down at Slate. An expression of Shock came over him seeing Slate. Slate was smiling. Not only that he was laughing a bit. Was this man truly insane? Did he truly enjoy this?

"Are you quite done Landon" Slate said turning to look towards him, "you have so much anger and fight and you don't stop now"

"Shut up!" Landon said giving him another hard right, "Don't talk.. don't talk as if you know me"

"oh but i do Landon.. i do" he said turning back to him, "Cause you know.. i have a little secret"

Slate then leaned up to Landon whispering in his ear. Through the whole entire time Landon's eyes got wider and wider. Slate only laughed when he was done and layed back.

"No..." Landon said a bit shocked as Slate nodded.

"its true.. so if you really do kill Nova.. you'll never truly kill her" Slate said laughing again "and you know what.. have you ever thought a moment about the third murder..knowing you only commited two of them to frame Nova.. who do you think did the third one?"

"She couldn't!..."

"i think that enough" Slate said before ripping himself up from the spikes having his shoulders go through them.

Slate reached out and grabbed Landon's neck before tossing him up to the cieling.

"Lets make you into a lovely portrait " Slate said beforemoving his hands up at the tip of them glew with a pink reisatu.

With swift motions of his hands Landon's body was cut in the direction Slate deemed. Blood splattered up against the cieling. Slash after slash Landon screamed. His voice echoed outside before he went silent. He stayed again the cieling but his arm fell limp.

Soon after Slate walked outside to the Hole Landon's body made covered in blod. He smiled to himself looking to Nova's look alike on the other biulding.

"You over did it again didn't you" she said glaring at him.

"Over do it? never.. i take the necessities for my art Mom" Slate said licking his bloodied fingertips.

Mico looks at the Nova he thought was the real one yell out to Slate. "You're a copy? What the hell? This is f*cking confusing!" Mico looks at Slate as he stands next to the Nova clone. "Slate, I know we aren't exactly friends, But I want you to explain this whole thing to me." As he says this a huge crack is heard, the foundation and support of the building is starting to give in.

"Well for explinations that would ensue time" he said feeling the foundation of the biulding begin to crumble, "and time is something that i don't have the freedom to give"

With that said Slate jumped out of the biulding onto the ropes before walking across past Nova "it was nice seeing you for once, Big sister"

Nova stared wide eyes at Slate and Landon, she tried to speak but her voice didn't carry any volume. One she realized what Slate was going to do she squeezed her eyes shut, just after that she heard Landon piercing scream. She waited a small while after the scream was cut off and slowly opened her eyes. Nova looked over at Mico as he demanded an explanation. She wanted one too and looked back to Slate, trying to block out the sudden lance of pain as she started grasp what had just happened. She didn’t quite understand what Slate had just said, had she heard right? “sister?” she said, barely audible. “what are you talking about Slate” she was so confused, and her emotions were starting to get out of control.

The commander looked around wide eyed but then heared it the hellicopter, the sword regrouped and he grabbed onto the ladder before duama could hit him he was pulled up and started to laugh, "looks like i lost my army and didn't acomplish what i needed to, but i will live another day and i will build up m..." his eyes go wide as he sees Gabriel holding up both his guns.

"Guilty." is all he says as the guns are fired at the same time the blasts this time are not normal they seem to be building up and then they fire like a laser cannon. white and red mixing together to make it one shot it went right through the hellicopter destroying it. "Finish it." he said to duama as he turned around. the commander had dropped his sword and was now free falling. Gabriel walked over to number three and picked him up carefully. he walked over to the other two numbers who were also wounded and could not move. Gabriel himself was about at his limit. "This is the end of the numbers, it ends with the death of us." Gabriel said to them. they looked a bit shocked at this, he could still run away if he wanted, but he was not going to leave without his team.

Slate walked over to the Nova look alike and held out his hands. She soof cuffed them together behind hims back before putting a bar cuff on his ankles forcing him to walk wide legged.

"lets go" she said holding sometype of remote as a helicopter came down to get them.

"yes mom" Slate said sarcastically before stopping at the helicopter looking to Nova.

"it was fun Nova. I hope t osee you again" he said before closing his eyes stepping into it, "even though i doubt we ever will again"

Duama smirks and nods. crouching low he fires off toward the commander with the force of a ballistic missile. He collides into the commander's back with a sickening crack, breaking his back. As the commander in shot higher into the air Duama shoots a tounge of water out of his mouth that wraps around the commander leg pulling him into Duama's grasp. "Heh what goes up..." the two diuvebomb slamming into the ground creating a creater the size of a small lake. As the commander laid broken and beaten, a groggy and blood soaked Duama postions his foot ontop of the commander's chest readying the final blow. "It's time to pay your debt old man..." Duama outstretches his right hand and draws from the water around him. A sword of water and ice appears in his hand, but catches the light and appears almost holy(http://media.photobucket.com/image/swor ... 40x480.jpg)
"You've made your last stand here...you underestimated gabriel...you underestimated Slate and Nova...and you underestimated my partner, but most of all...you thought I wouldnt give a damn!"

Duama plunges the sword into the commanders heart freezing him in a block of Ice in theshape of a cross. "You'll stay here...forever frozen a sybol of your own ambition...heh you jackass......" Duama falls to the ground in a heap, losing consciousness from his bloodloss. As the world faded away Duama wondered....
